HUNTER’S SAFETY COURSE
Our Hunter’s Safety Class are tentatively scheduled for June 19th, 21st, and 23rd, 2012 and August 7th, 9th, and 11th. You may contact Larry Dowden at 309-527-2562 if you have any questions and/or are interested in signing up for this class.
2012 Wild Game Banquet
This year’s banquet is February 4th at the Interstate Center on Rt. 9 West Bloomington, IL. Our doors will open at 3:00P.M. with our dinner being served at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and children 6 and under are free. Tickets are available from any board member, Smiley’s Sport Shop, Chuck’s Harley Davidson, Erickson Automotive, Darnall Gun Range, and Darnall Printing & Signmaking.
This will be our 21st annual banquet and it promises to be the best one yet. There will be a large number of gun raffles, print raffles, women’s raffles, and a free kids raffle. We will have a huge live auction. Here is a list of a few items to be auctioned : Limosine ride from Bloomington to St. Louis for a Cards-Cub Baseball Game, a Limosine ride from Bloomington to Chicago for a Cubs-Cardinal Baseball Game, a generator, fishing trips at some local lakes and also one in Canada, hunting trips for Pheasants, Doves, Ducks and Geese, prints, tools and many other items too numerous to mention. Also throughout the evening we will have a silent auction. You don’t want to miss this banquet.
This banquet would not be a success without all the businesses and individuals that have donated merchandise or services. If you would like to become a sponsor please contact a board member or use our contact page on this web site and we will contact you. All donations are tax deductible and you could become a Gold Sponsor, with just a donation of $200 - $349. In return you will be indentified as a Gold Sponsor in our printed program and you will receive 2 dinner tickets to our banquet. If you would decide to make a donation of $350 - $499 you would be a Platinum Sponsor and along with recognition in our program you would received 3 dinner tickets to our banquet. And finally with a donation of $500 or more, you would be a Diamond Sponsor and would receive 4 dinner tickets, special recognition in our program and be entered into a special sponsor raffle.
For those of you that have supported us through out the 20 years so far, THANK YOU!!!! Your donations have made it possible to help so many organizations and individuals. Here are just a few that you have helped: McLean Co. D A R E Program, Special Olympics, Easter Seals Camp, Toys for Tots, Timber Pointe Lodge, St. Judes, ISU Intern Program, Miller Park Fishing Derby, and Hunter Safety Courses.
As you can see you have helped us accomplish alot in these twenty years. Please help us keep it up again this year!!!! See you at the Banquet Feb. 4th.
