Wild Game Banquet
Our annual Wild Game Banquet is this Saturday, February 6th at the Interstate Center on W. Market St. in Bloomington, IL.   Our doors will  open at 3:30pm our buffet dinner being served at 4:30p.  We will be serving summer sausage and cheese, hot wings, meat balls, venison chili and a relish tray with dip as our appetizers and then the main course begins with turkey, elk tips and gravy, fish, and pheasant stroganoff with all the trimmings.  The evening continues with our live auction, which includes this year tickets and limo ride to St. Louis for a Cards- Cubs ball game, tickets and limo ride to Chicago for a Cubs - Cardinal game, tickets to a Chicago Bulls game, tickets to a St. Louis Cardinal game including an on field experience, a turkey hunt in Hamilton Co., an autographed guitar signed by Brad Paisley, many beautiful prints, several pheasant hunting trips, fishing trips ( one fishing trip is to Smith Camps for 1 week in Ontario, Canada) and so many more items too numerous to mention them all.  We also will have a silent auction with such items as car care products, lawn care products, landscaping materials, clothing, items to create your own food plots such as Round UP to control your weeds, clover seed to plant, and fertilizer to watch it grow.  The list will keep growing and there will be some great buys to be had at the silent auction.   And if that is not enough to keep you busy, there are many numerous raffles, which includes a free youth raffle for ages 0 - 15yrs old, a women’s raffle, a deer hunting raffle, a turkey raffle and many more.  You can also double your money if you purchase a Sportsmen’s package for $100, you will receive $200 of  funny money for you to use to buy into most of the raffles, but hurry there is only a limited supply of these packages.   All in all, it’s a great time to spend the evening with us.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from the following businesses:  Smiley’s Sport Shop, Chuck’s Harley-Davidson, Darnall Printing, Erickson’s Auto Service, Darnall Gun Works and Range, and a new business in town located at the Crossroads Center  called Select Archery.com.  Tickets costs are $25 in advance and $30 at the door the evening of the banquet.  Children 6 yrs. and younger are free.

Hunter Safety Course
This is our next hunters safety course, the hours are  6PM to 9PM on the 18th and 20th and from 8Am to 4PM on Saturday the 22nd, which includes the testing for the class and a free trap shooting event for all those that pass the class.   Please contact our certified instructor Larry Dowden at 309-527-2562 to sign up or for more information.
